Iconic junior Mehmood passes away to cancer at 67

In a sorrowful turn of events, veteran actor Junior Mehmood, born on November 15, 1956, in Mumbai, breathed his last at 67 after battling cancer for an extended period. The news of his demise, which occurred at 2 o'clock on Thursday night, has sent shockwaves through Bollywood.

Junior Mehmood, whose real name was Naeem, gained prominence for his versatile acting skills displayed in over 250 films spanning seven different languages. His illustrious career, which began as a child artist, saw him leave an indelible mark on Hindi cinema for four decades.
